Why are Cheeky Nappies grey?

Why not? The dark colour is practical, hiding stains better than traditional white nappies, and the dye we use is formaldehyde-free and certified safe.

Handling Solids: We recommend using a liner within the nappy to simplify cleanup. For solids:

• Reusable Liner: Tip any solids into the toilet, then rinse in the flush or scrape off residue.
• Disposable Liner: Dispose of solids in the toilet and then bin the liner. Do not flush as they are typically not flushable.

Washing Instructions For Cheeky Fitted Nappies

Pre-Wash

Avoid soaking your nappies to protect the fabric. Instead, opt for 'dry pailing'; store used nappies in a dry pail and wash within two days to prevent damage and balding spots.

Rinse/Wash

Use The Strucket or similar for a preliminary rinse. Follow up with a cold rinse cycle or quick wash in your machine without detergent. Avoid harsh stain removers or bleach.

Initial Prep

New to cloth nappies? We advise prewashing your trial kit nappies twice with a bit of detergent to enhance their absorbency before the first use.
